Shalom To The Nations International (STNI) is committed to protecting the privacy of its donors, volunteers, employees, directors, and community partners.

 

STNI collects personal information and complies with all applicable privacy laws. The organization embraces the principles of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information to ensure that all personal information, including banking information, is appropriately collected, used, and disclosed only for the purposes for which it is collected and that it is adequately safeguarded.

 

As such, STNI has developed a formal policy that sets out how it will manage the personal information it collects. All personal information collected by STNI is handled in compliance with privacy legislation.

 

No personal information collected by STNI will be used or disclosed to any other person for a commercial purpose without the consent of the individual. Except as otherwise required by law, every person has the right, in accordance with the policy provisions, at any time, to withdraw his or her consent regarding the use of their personal information.

 

Other organizations partnering with STNI are required to comply with this Policy. They are granted restricted access to personal information solely to perform the services they may be retained to perform for STNI.
